This Notice explains how Neptune Spear Labs ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use FedYet. We act as the data controller for the information described here.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: name, email, login credentials.
• Service data: dogs you add, feeding logs, household members, photos you upload.
• Support data: messages you send us.
• Technical data: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, basic usage telemetry.

2. How & Why We Use It

• Provide the Service (contract): account creation, syncing feedings across your household.
• Security & fraud prevention (legitimate interests): protecting accounts and the platform.
• Product improvement (legitimate interests): understanding usage to improve features.
• Customer support (contract / legitimate interests): responding to requests.
• Marketing (consent, where required): only with your opt-in.
• Legal obligations: tax, accounting, or compliance requirements.

3. Who We Share It With

• Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics, customer-support tooling.
• Merchant of Record (Paddle): for the sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers: legal and accounting where required.
• Authorities: where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence (including outside the UK/EEA). Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized. You can delete your account at any time.

6. Your Rights

Subject to your local law (including GDPR for UK/EEA residents), you may have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your data; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and provider-managed infrastructure, to protect your data.

8. Cookies

FedYet uses essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and run the Service. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we'll update this Notice and request consent where required.

9. Children

FedYet is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
